Coach Trevor Murphy head softball coach and Junior High Girls Athletic Coordinator. 

Coach Murphy is entering his 8th year of teaching and coaching. A 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School, Coach Murphy went on to play college football at Stephen F. Austin State University, where he earned a degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology.

Before joining Pine Tree  (2024-2025), Coach Murphy spent five years at Longview High School (2018–2024). Prior to that he coached one year at Huntsville High School (2017-2018).

Coach Murphy is  married to Kenzie Murphy, and they have three children—Merritt, Grigsby, and Hawkins—who inspire him daily to be the best role model for the young athletes he coaches.

Coach Murphy’s mission is simple: to help every athlete reach their full potential, both as a player and as a person.
