Coach Jesus Hernandez is entering his first year at Pine Tree High School as the Head Boys Soccer Coach and Head Cross Country Coach. A graduate of Ennis High School, Hernandez continued his soccer career at Bethel College in Kansas before finishing his academic and athletic career at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU), where he earned his degree.
Prior to Pine Tree, Hernandez spent seven years coaching at Ferris High School, where he helped make school history by leading the boys soccer program to the regional tournament. He also guided Ferris’ first-ever cross country team to qualify for the UIL Regional Championships, marking another historic milestone for the school.
Hernandez is married to Giselle Hernandez, a Pine Tree alumna, and together they have a one-year-old son, Mateo. They are both excited to be at Pine Tree.
