Luke Yoder
I am thrilled to be entering my third year of teaching and my second year of coaching here at Pine Tree. My roots run deep here in this community, graduating from Pine Tree High School where I played soccer and had the honor of being named District MVP. After spending the past two years teaching Algebra 2, I am looking forward to stepping into the classroom this year as an Honors Geometry teacher.
On the athletics side, I’m excited to expand my role. In addition to my previous work as the boys assistant soccer coach, I am now stepping in as the girls assistant soccer coach. On top of that, I will also be co-coaching the junior high cross country team alongside our head girls soccer coach.
Pine Tree is truly a family affair for me. My dad handles audio-visual for the campus, two of my siblings are currently sophomores here at the high school, and my wife, Taylor (whom I married this past March), works at the Birch Elementary campus.
When I’m not in the classroom or out on the field, I’m usually watching just about any sport that’s on, or catching a game on Xbox when I get a free moment. I’m looking forward to another great year of supporting our students and athletes. Go Pirates!
