Pine Tree Swimming 2019

2019 District Meet Results:
The 2019 District meet was held in Texarkana this year and both the girls and boys place 2nd in District and 2nd overall.  Pine Tree advanced 14/17 swimmers to the Regional Meet!

The 2019 Region 4-5A Championship Meet was held in Lewisville, TX.  Pine Tree placed 7th overall as a team this year at the Regional Meet. All of our Regional swimmers competed and had some of their best times of the season!

On 12/8 the PT Swim Team got together at Oil Bowl for a Christmas Party and White Elephant gift exchange. The Jr High Swim Team also joined in on the fun.

Whitehouse Christmas Relays

Pine Tree had a great showing at 1st Inaugural Whitehouse Christmas Relays on 12/13. Pine Tree had a total of 17 swimmers at the meet and it showcased all of our strengths as a team. Our girls 200 Free Relay consisting of Zoe Green, Leah Counts, Sierra Reese, and Ainsley Daugbjerg placed 3rd. We had several swimmers set PR’s for the season and we are looking strong heading into District next month.

Pine Tree Swim Team has Solid showing in First Meet

In their first meet of the year, at the PCA Meet in Lufkin, the Pine Tree Swim team had a solid showing.  Combining boys and girls team totals we finished 3rd out of 12 teams.  Here is a list of our boys and girls (individuals and relays) who finished in the top 6.

Girls:
Place 2nd as a team overall out of 12.

Relays-
200 Medley Relay 1st Place: Leah Counts, Gisel Veliz, Sierra Reese, and Ainsley Daugbjerg
200 Free Relay 2nd Place: Leah Counts, Gisel Veliz, Sierra Reese, and Ainsley Daugbjerg

Individual-
Ainsley Daugbjerg place 2nd in the 50 Free and 5th in the 100 Free
Ashly James placed 5th in the 200 Free
Lexi Oliver place 6th in the 200 Free
Zoe Green placed 5th in the 50 Free
Sierra Reese place 6th in the 100 Free

Boys:
Placed 6th as a team
